The Woods Chapel has many unique offerings, here is a closer look at our infamous ‘Chapel’. First and foremost the naturally canopied entryway is a wonderful introduction to the chapel, with mature maple trees beginning to separate you from the outside world and transport you into your dream wedding day. Warm timber beam construction, dramatic stucco, and custom masonry and stonework, all add to the welcoming charm of the Chapel.

Open the two sets of solid wood french doors and you’re invited into our cozy foyer area. Warmly lit by beautiful chandeliers and matching sconces as well as two large bay windows, the foyer welcomes guests like the warm embrace of a hug. Complete with the front desk, a large round glass table for decor, small seating area and a restroom.

Above the foyer is a private suite with more seating and its own restroom. Perfect place for hiding brides pre-ceremony or signing marriage licenses afterwards.

Back on the main level, double hung doors usher you into the traditional yet uniquely rustic chapel ceremony hall. The double hung doors are perfect for grand entrances and exits for wedding parties and guests alike. The wide open vaulted ceilings dressed in gorgeous rough sawn beams contrasted by white ceilings, the Chapel hall transports you into a magical space. Graced with 11 massive picture windows, ample natural lighting is accompanied by 16 chandeliers with matching sconces and spotlights on the altar for an added pop that all bring the room to life with the golden tones of the natural wood. Hand carved flower wooden flower arrangements on the altar wanes coating are a beautiful detail with matching carvings on the pulpit. A wonderful white grand piano is the cherry on top of the altar area and a great option for live music in the chapel. Guests will be comfortably seated in ergonomically curved wooden pews that are certainly unique to The Woods Chapel. Every third rows of pews is fit with a decorative hook that allow an easy way to add a personal touch to your perfect wedding ceremony. Hand hewn black walnut floors keep the rich warm cozy feeling that The Woods Chapel exudes.
